The Archive utility, as it is named, allows for compressing and decompressing files within the Mac OS. Just as in the case of Windows, Mac operating system (Mac OS X 10.3 onwards) also provides built-in support to create a ZIP file. #5) If you wish to rename it, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select the Rename option, and then type the new name. #4) Since we have selected Work1 first so we have a zipped folder created with the name “Work1”.
